McMaster librarians have finally managed to rid themselves of the scourge known as Jeff Trzeciak.
Congratulations to McMaster librarians. The Loon wishes them a successful rebuilding.
As for Washington University, the Loon hopes they have very strong internal cohesion. She suspects they’ll need it.

Don’t mean to be paranoid but this has happened before and the cat came back the very next day… I’ll believe it when M. Trzeciak is physically occupying an office at Washington University…
I’m just curious if the selection committee had any librarians on it. Washington University news release
Is it possible for the man to submit a non-binding resignation?
WUSTL might well come to its senses, but the Loon doesn’t see why that means McMaster has to take him back.
He’s left before. Something happened to make him change his mind at the last moment and Mac took him back…
Ugh. Well. The Loon hopes that doesn’t happen again.
Unfortunately, for the WU folks, it means now they get that guy inflicted on them. Talk about mixed-feeling kind of news. Oh well, as you said, we can only hope the librarians there have that internal cohesion. They are indeed going to need it. Now, if we could only get rid of the local obstructionist in chief here…but that is another tale.
Why is he a scourge? I’m not up on these things.
